Procedure 1
The doctors came by this am and said that Annie would be getting an epidural something or other. The gist of it was a steroid shot in her lower back. It should start to help in the next 24 hours with it’s maximum effects felt after a few days. It’s slow going, but we’re getting some answers. More tests ensue
Finally today they compared the MRI scans from yesterday, to the ones taken a week ago. There is a significant difference in the scans. Annie currently cannot eat because of a test they’re going to do.
Although we thought surgery was out of the picture yesterday, it seems like it’s possible. Hopefully we’ll know more after the tests.
OK...who knew nerologists roam the halls at 10 PM
Annie has a pinched nerve. The pain is slightly dulled. The plan for the next few days will be physical therapy and pain management. Hopefully she’ll be home soon.
MRI taken... no one has read it yet... maybe...
Monday Afternoon
Annie is getting an MRI right now. Hopefully a doctor will read it tonight, and we’ll have a plan of attack.
